For the search in archive files, at least 8 GB RAM are recommended for the corresponding Application Server. Only archive files of document data record types in the Document Archive are indexed. Archive files which would become larger than 20 MB after indexing are not indexed.
Index archive files creates separate processes during execution. If, in the process, the entire memory is still used, only the indexing of individual documents is affected and SmartSearch will not crash.
Occasionally, problems might occur when indexing archive files. To help with this, you can now configure document indexing packages with settings in the elasticsearch_config.properties file. The settings have default values and are commented out.
If necessary, you can use either all or just single parameters.
