Deactivated

Users and resources

Deactivated users or resources are displayed in the Deactivated entries folder in the User management area. Deactivated entries do not require a licence. If a license is restricted to a certain amount of users or resources, those deactivated entries are not included in the number of counted licenses.

On the Management Console there can only be as many active users and resources as licenses.

To deactivate users or resources you go to the User Management area and then click the Properties button. In the Deactivated entries folder, you activate users or resources via the Properties button.

Groups

You deactivate groups by removing all members of a group.

Deactivated groups are displayed in the Groups folder in the User management area, you can recognized them by this icon.

Addresses

Users can deactivate addresses. For example, if a contact person leaves a company, the contact person should not be deleted from the system so that the links in the dossier of the data record are retained.
