If you change a form, the corresponding lists need also to be adjusted.
Select the complete form with a mouse click. The Properties window opens.
Insert time stamp automatically inserts the user's name, the date and the time (Time stamp) in the notes field.
Users can use, for example, the notes field for tasks with several working steps that require you to communicate with colleagues. Each data record change is marked by a time stamp. Progress and results are thus easy to reconstruct.
The text that is inserted with the time stamp is saved in the TimeStampStyle.txt file of the ..\Internals portal folder. This file can contain any text and certain variables.
The text of this file and therefore also the content of the time stamp always applies to the complete portal.
The corresponding contents are automatically inserted for the following variables:
|UserName| - User name
|Initials| - Initials
|ShortDateTime|
|LongDateTime|
|ShortDate|
|LongDate|
|ShortTime|
|LongTime| are different date formats which are deployed depending on the CAS genesisWorld language settings.
One form can include several tabs. You decide which ones you want to have displayed.
If you change data, these changes remain when you open a different tab. A data record can be saved in any tab.
In the Change log tab, all changes of a data record are logged in a list. Also changes that were undone are logged.
