Data record change event type

When using rules for data record changes, the system monitors whether a data record has been created, changed, linked, deleted or restored.

Examples

Please note

These rules do not apply to data records that existed before the rule was activated. All future data record changes are monitored as soon as this rule is activated.

If you want to monitor whether field values are matched for several fields, you create several rules.

If you create a rule that is contradictory or where the event will not occur, this rule is unaffected.

You can e.g. only monitor the subset of tasks where the Not started editing status is entered. The monitored field is also the editing status. The action is initiated if the editing status is set to Completed.

Some of these rules are identified by CAS genesisWorld and you receive a note.

Settings in: Data record change

If you monitor the changes to a data record, all or specified fields will be monitored.

If one or several of the fields of the monitored data record changes, the action is initiated.

Date fields cannot be monitored.

If the field of the monitored data record meets the condition for the field value, the action is initiated.

Settings in: Data record is linked

If you monitor the links of a data record, you can check all or only certain links.

Setting opens the Links to be monitored window.

A window opens in which the available link types of the selected data record type are displayed.
