Miscellaneous area/Currencies

Currency fields exist for several data record types and more fields with currency entries can be created in the Database area.

All used CAS genesisWorld currencies must be listed and defined in the tab list.

The base currency is normally used in your company and is already set if a drop-down list for selecting currency is available.

Your administrator defines the following options in the Management Console:

Which currencies are available in CAS genesisWorld and, for example, which currencies are displayed in a drop-down list for currencies.
Which currency is used as the base currency.

The Default currency is the currency you will use the most. You can define this currency in the settings on the Working environment tab in the Desktop Client. This default currency will then always be set for you if a currency drop-down list is available.
