Activation

You have to enter a unique activation key for each installation of CAS genesisWorld. This key is generated by CAS Software AG and does not contain any customer-specific data.

The activation key is essential if you want to activate a software installation with CAS Software AG. This is always the case when license numbers are added or removed.

If after 30 days the license was not activated, then you will no longer be able to make any administrative changes or configurations in the Management Console.

• To activate the license, open the Management Console and go to the Licenses area.

You usually register online, whereby the application server transfers the respective data to the CAS Software AG registration server.

Registering online

• In the Licensing area click the Register button to open the window for data entry.
• Enter the data.

The application server cannot access the Internet.

• Click Create activation file.
• Send this file to your CAS Partner.
• You will receive your activation key from your CAS Partner, you have to enter the key to register.

Licensee, test and productive system

• When activating the license using the activation key, you define whether you want to activate a test or productive system.
