Quality management representative

If, for example, the Quality assurance representative is ill or on holiday, a person can be chosen to act as his or her deputy. This deputy can then take responsibility for all the tasks corresponding to the managed documents.

• In the User Management area, the administrator can create roles in the respective folder. The administrator adds the user who is to be the deputy to a role group, for example, QA manager or creates a specific role.

  In CAS genesisWorld, specific users and groups have specific roles. Roles allow a user to carry out specific functions, for example, the right to process a request.

  Roles can also include specific rights that relate to other users or groups. For example, user A can be assigned the role of manager for users A, B and C or group ABC. Managers then have the right to approve, refuse cancel holiday for the users they manage.

  The person who administers CAS genesisWorld is the administrator. The administrator creates user accounts and assigns rights so that you as a registered user can log on to CAS genesisWorld.

  The administrator also configures CAS genesisWorld, which involves arranging lists, forms, menus, navigators and all the pages in CAS genesisWorld according to your company's requirements.

  The appearance of CAS genesisWorld (i.e. colors and images) is also defined by the administrator.

• The Manage document life cycle right must be active for this role.
• For the deputy, the administrator now activates the Manage document life cycle as deputy checkbox.
• The administrator assigns the users for whom the newly entered user is to be deputy.

This user will then see the Manage documents as representative list in the document life cycle.

Although this user is not the Quality assurance representative for these documents, as deputy he or she now has all the necessary rights.
