Quality management representative
If, for example, the Quality assurance representative is ill or on holiday, a person can be chosen to act as his or her deputy. This deputy can then take responsibility for all the tasks corresponding to the managed documents.
- In the User Management area, the administrator can create roles in the respective folder. The administrator adds the user who is to be the deputy to a role group, for example, QA manager or creates a specific role.
- The Manage document life cycle right must be active for this role.
- For the deputy, the administrator now activates the Manage document life cycle as deputy checkbox.
- The administrator assigns the users for whom the newly entered user is to be deputy.
This user will then see the Manage documents as representative list in the document life cycle.
Although this user is not the Quality assurance representative for these documents, as deputy he or she now has all the necessary rights.
