Functions for contact persons

In the Create/Edit company window, contact persons of the current company are displayed in a list for contact persons. Functions for contact persons are called with icons. You call the different list functions with a context menu (right mouse button).

 New contact person opens the New contact person window. Alternatively, go to the File menu of the data record window, and click New > Address > Contact person.

If you create a new company, a prompt asks you whether you want to save entries for the company. Select Yes.

Remove contact person opens a query for selection. You can either delete the selected contact person from the company and change it into an individual contacts. Or you delete the contact.

 Call opens the Any phone number window. The phone number of the selected contact is registered if one of the phone numbers is entered as Default.

You can directly dial the number if the phone integration is activated.

 Create document: clicking this icon lets you write a letter to the selected contact person.

 Write an e-mail: select the contact person you want to send an e-mail to and click this icon. The e-mail window opens. The selected contact person is entered as recipient.

 Overall dossier opens the overall dossier for the company. This dossier displays all linked data records with all contact persons of a company address.

 Properties: by clicking this icon, you can change the properties of the contacts list, for example, view format and filters.
