Telephony

CAS genesisWorld can be integrated into your telephone system via a Tapi-driver and, depending on the producer, via a serial cable, a special connector module, a ISDN card or directly via a TCP/IP network. The required information can be obtained from the manual of your telephone system or from its producer.

Then phone numbers from CAS genesisWorld addresses can be dialed and calls can be identified automatically.

If a phone call is made via CAS genesisWorld and CAS genesisWorld is shut down, the phone call will also be interrupted.

The data record type phone calls serves in CAS genesisWorld to register calls as well as to record missed, scheduled and finished calls and link them with addresses. In the phone call window you can record the duration of the call, assign a topic or enter call notes.

Call recognition can open the Phone call window automatically if you have set it up to do so. The record type “phone calls” can of course be used to record phone calls without phone call identification.

Just like other data records, you can display phone calls in lists, link them to other data records, add participants, and so on.
