Checking addresses with YellowMap

You can check your contacts addresses to determine postal address accuracy using YellowMap.

You can only use the postal address check function with YellowMap for addresses in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

• To execute the check, the country must be entered. Postal code and Town/City are not sufficient.
• If you enter a German postal code, the country and the federal state are automatically added.
• Searching for people in the phone book and checking postal addresses for correct data with YellowMap is only be possible for CAS genesisWorld users from Germany.

Checking addresses

• Create a new address or open an existing address.
• You should ensure that the Country field and either the Postal code field or the City/town field contain values

Click the Address check with YellowMap button next to the address.

• Once you have entered the postal code, the city/town field in German addresses is automatically completed. If, however, more than one locale is found for the postal code, then you can select the right city/town from a drop-down list.
• If the address fields in CAS genesisWorld and in YellowMap differ, then the Transfer address data window will open.

All the differing field values are displayed.

• Transfer the values you want to the Result field.
• Click OK. The values are entered into the CAS genesisWorld address.
