What are links?

This relationship between records in CAS genesisWorld is created using links. A link connects two data records.

If you have scheduled an appointment with a customer, the address is linked to the appointment.

For each activity with regard to the customer you create new data records: phone calls, tasks, appointments, documents, e-mails, and so on.

All data records for a customer are linked to the customer's address.

Over the time, you will gain a collection of linked data records giving you a clear overview of your customers' activities.

The technical term in CAS genesisWorld for this linked collection of data records is Dossier.

Links always connect two data records. If you want to view the links, you can do that by opening any data record.

An e-mail campaign is executed for several addresses and is also linked to all these addresses.

All data records in CAS genesisWorld can be linked to each other and a Dossier exists for each data record.
