Microsoft Office 365

The Add-In for Microsoft Outlook is also available for Office 365 in the Microsoft AppSource store. The Office365 Add-In can be used in Microsoft Outlook, in your browser, and on mobile devices.

The Office 365 Add-In enables the direct archiving of e-mails from the Microsoft Outlook inbox. Additionally, the Add-In checks whether the e-mail you want to archive has already been archived. If the e-mail has already been archived, then the system can open the archived e-mail directly in CAS genesisWorld Web.

If the address for the sender of an e-mail is already saved in CAS genesisWorld, then the contact data for the respective sender is displayed in the CAS genesisWorld sidebar for the Add-In. You can open the address directly from the CAS genesisWorld sidebar in CAS genesisWorld Web.

The dossier for the respective address will also be displayed in the sidebar. You can also open any linked data records displayed in the sidebar, directly in the CAS genesisWorld sidebar in CAS genesisWorld Web.

Requirements

Office 365 is a Microsoft licensing model. You can find further information in the corresponding Microsoft documentation.

If you license Office 365, you receive an e-mail address that enables you to access Microsoft AppSource. The access to Microsoft AppSource is necessary to use the Office 365 Add-In.

• If you want to use Office 365 for your own On Premises installation, you must use Exchange 2016 On-premise or a later version to receive access to Microsoft AppSource and use the Office 365 Add-In.
• If you want to use the Office 365 Add-In in an existing Microsoft Office installation, you must integrate an Office 365 e-mail address in Outlook and thereby access Microsoft AppSource and the Office 365 Add-In.

Logon

You log on to the CAS genesisWorld web server using the data of a CAS genesisWorld user account. The logon is encrypted using SSL or TLS 2.0.

Click the button in an opened e-mail to display the CAS genesisWorld sidebar.

• Click Log on.
• Enter your User name, your Password, the Server name, and the name of the Database.

Please contact your administrator if necessary.

• Activate the Remember me option if you want to save your CAS genesisWorld logon data in your Office 365 profile.

Archiving or opening e-mails

• If an e-mail has not been archived, click Archive now in the CAS genesisWorld sidebar.
• If an e-mail has already been archived in CAS genesisWorld, click Open archived e-mail in the CAS genesisWorld sidebar.

The archived e-mail is opened in CAS genesisWorld Web.

Send & Archive

• Click the Send & Archive button if you wish to archive a new e-mail while sending in CAS genesisWorld.

Settings

Click the button to open the Office 365 Add-In settings.

• Select the desired Language.
• In the field below the language settings, you enter the CAS genesisWorld Web URL if necessary.

This setting might be required if, for example, the CAS genesisWorld Web URL differs from the server name you entered during logon.

• Click Save to save the changed settings.

More functions

Click the button to log off of CAS genesisWorld.

• If you click Privacy Policy, the data privacy statement of CAS Software AG opens in your browser.
• If you click Send error report, you can send an error report containing a short description and a log file to CAS Software AG.
