Delegating
If you remove yourself as Participant from a data record, you delegate the data record to the remaining participant(s).
- If you remove all participants from a data record, the All (Public) user is automatically entered. Thereby, all users gain access to the data record.
- As long as the data record is not delegated a second time, the original participant has access rights no matter how many times the data record is changed by another user. However, the original data record participant will no longer be able to delete the data record after delegation. Users with the Delete external access right to the participants of the delegated data record can still delete the data record.
Notes for monitored tasks
You can have the due dates of tasks monitored. If the due date is exceeded or if the task is changed or deleted, the participants of the task are notified automatically.
If you are no longer a participant, you will also no longer receive any notifications.
