Dashboard

There are two different types of dashboards:

A company dashboard is always the first view of every navigator. Company dashboards reference data from the whole CAS genesisWorld database and offer a view of different data records, intranet or Internet pages such as services. Examples of company dashboards:

• A Sales dashboard containing addresses, links, team calendar, and so on.
• A view showing the current status in the support department, with the latest service reports, complaints, unanswered e-mails, today's tasks, and so on.
• A display of the secretary office with appointments of all board members, upcoming internal meetings, unanswered requests, pending calls, and so on.

You will find data record dashboards in the Data record window on the Dashboard tab. These refer to the data of the current data record and its links.

In the Management Console, the administrator defines the data records in which the dashboard tab is displayed. The Dashboard tab is often available for projects and addresses.

You can individually define the content of both dashboards using configurable elements.
