A window with several options opens.
Define which activity of a recurrence pattern you want to change. Do you only want to change the opened data record, all future or all data records?
If you change all future or all data records, data records that have already been deleted are newly created.
You may already have changed an activity of a recurrence pattern and you want to change the whole recurrence pattern at a later time.
If a data record field of a recurrence pattern that you want to change has already been changed in part of the recurrence pattern, only those fields that have not been changed before are changed. Changes to a single data record are given priority to changes to several data records.
If links are available in the data record which is currently open, then a query will open and you can transfer the links. Different links might be available for data records in a recurrence pattern. Thus, the data record link are transferred from the data record you currently have open.
Changes to participants of an activity are adopted when changing a recurrence pattern. Previous changes of participants to single data records are not changed.
This means that the result of all changes is counted -- including the single data record and changes of the recurrence pattern.
Example
A change might lead to the fact that no participant is entered in an activity anymore. The change of this activity is then not executed and you will receive a notification.
