Customize window

In the Customize window, you can create own buttons via which you can start different CAS genesisWorld programs or create new data records, also based on a template.

• Right-click the user-defined toolbar in the program window and select Customize in the short cut menu.

  You open the context menu by right-clicking an object. The context menu contains individual functions for the clicked element.

• Or go to the View menu and click Toolbars/Customize.

Custom buttons

Click the Add button. A wizard opens.

• Double-click the Executable files icon.
• Click the Browse button to open the file selection window. Select an executable file, an .exe file, from the following file selection box.

If you enter text in the Notes field, then this text is displayed (like a tool-tip) when you place your cursor on the icon.

• If you select New data record in the wizard, you define the Type of data record type in the drop-down list.

  Data records combine various related information. Each data record can be identified easily by means of a key or name. The Maier address data record contains all information on the customer Maier, including first name, last name, postal address, and so on. The Software introduction product contains a unique number, a price, a description, and so on.

  Data record types are data records of a kind in CAS genesisWorld, for example, addresses, tasks, appointments, documents, and so on.

• Using Select template you can define which template will be used to create a new data record.

You can remove a marked button using this icon.

Export/import buttons open the select files window. The toolbar is saved as a .GUB file.

• Using the arrows between the lists, you can display icons and switch their sequence.
