Dossier tab position

Here you can opt to hide or display the Dossier tab in the data record window for eachdata record type, and you can define whether the dossier is displayed in link navigator.

This is how you open the Display window, here you can define the settings for the display of the Dossier tab in the data record window.

On the Tools menu, click Settings or,

click the Settings icon.

The Settings window opens.

Open the Working environment tab and click the Display button.
Click the Display column in the respective row. Display a drop-down list.
Select whether or not you want to display the Dossier tab in the respective data record window.
If the Display dossier on opening option is ticked, the dossier tab is displayed in the link navigator when you open the Dossier tab.

If the option is not activated, the first view of the link navigator is displayed when opening the Dossier tab.

The settings you define here are subsequently taken into account in the global search as long as you have activated the Display result as a dossier.

If the Display preview option is ticked, the preview of a data record is displayed when you display the dossier. The most important fields of the selected data record are displayed in the preview below the list.

If you deactivate the preview, the dossier is loaded faster.

This setting is always available on the Dossier tab for a data record.
