Special characteristics for participants

Participants of a data record are saved separated by a comma in a text field with a restricted length.

This text field can e.g. be displayed in a list view.

This field is also searched if you go to Advanced search or work with a dynamic filter and create a condition with the Participants field.

If many participants are entered for one data record the length of the text field might not be sufficient for all participants. Thus, not all data records of all participants might be found.

Alternative options

• If you create a list view, set the participants on the Team tab: Activate Display data records of selected users if they have sufficient permissions. Select then the participants.

The list view then displays data records of the selected users which also meet the filter conditions of the Filter tab.

• There is another option in the Windows client: in the Search window, activate the Only data records of the selected participants option, and select the respective participants.

The data records of all selected participants are searched.
