IMAP

IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) is a protocol that is used to exchange e-mails between computers. IMAP is used to establish a permanent connection between an e-mail server and an e-mail client. E-mail is managed directly on the e-mail server, in the process multiple computers and multiple e-mail clients can be used.

Version 4 is the current version that is supported by CAS genesisWorld. All of the most common e-mail servers support IMAP. And the majority of providers offer IMAP for a fee.
