Projects/Details tab

On this tab in the standard version, you have the option of performing an analysis for budget, turnover and costs. Additionally, you can also enter a network folder for storing more project files.

When using modules such as Project, you will have more functions and fields available to you on the tab. The various add-on module functions are all described in more detail under CAS Product documentation.

Evaluating projects

If you wish, you can calculate the Budget, Turnover and Costs for a project automatically.

• To do this, you gather data from documents in CAS genesisWorld, for example, Costs and Turnover on the Details tab.
• Link the document data records with the desired project.
• In the project data record you can enter the Budget on the Details tab.
• On the project Details tab, click Update for Calculated values.

The Costs and Turnover fields from the linked documents are then added.

On the Details tab in the project, you will see the following values displayed.

• Costs and turnover for all linked documents as well as
• The date and time of the last calculations in the Last calculation fields.

Project folder field

Project folders can be used for large ZIP files which you do not want to store in the CAS genesisWorld database. We recommend using a network folder so that colleagues can also access the folder.

With the Select project folder button you can define the project folder.

The path to the folder is displayed in the input field.

The Open project folder button opens the folder in the Windows Explorer.
