E-mail accounts only for sending
You can use an e-mail account only for sending e-mails. For example, you can use such an account for the notification and action service. The following functions are not available in e-mail accounts only for sending.
- You cannot create an e-mail view via the view wizard.
- The folder structure for the e-mail account is not displayed in the navigator. If you deactivate the Only use for sending option, the folders will only be displayed in the navigator after restarting the Desktop Client.
- You cannot create server-side e-mail rules.
- You cannot set up the out-of-office wizard.
- Replies to appointment invitations are not automatically updated.
- You cannot send e-mails and e-mail campaigns in offline mode.
- Sent e-mails are not saved.
- When writing e-mails, draft e-mails are not saved.
