Import/Export - Source/Target: OLEDB

A special wizard for OLEDB opens if you can configure a connection with a data source via OLEDB driver.

With OLEDB experienced users can also import Excel files. Here they can import a certain Excel table. However the fields must not contain any image, audio or binary data.

• Click OLEDB > Collect connection properties.
• On the Data link properties window select the entry Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers in the Provider tab.
• In the Connection tab you can activate the Use data source name option if you have already created a corresponding data source.
• Otherwise you need to create a data source via Connection string by clicking Create.

If you click the Help button in these windows, you receive a help page for the OLEDB driver.
