Changing the currency

Currency fields are available in multiple data record types, for example, in addresses, opportunities or products.

The currency set for items in opportunities can only be changed if your administrator has enabled it.

You can enter amounts into the input fields in the data record window. The currency is selected via a drop-down list, in which all the available currencies are listed.

The set currency in a data record can be defined or changed for most data record types. A set currency or a change

• always applies to the open data record and not for all data records of the respective data record type such as
• for all currency fields in the open data record.

You cannot select differing currencies for single fields in a data record.

• In the data record window click Change currency in the Tools menu.
• Select a possible Currency from the drop-down list.

Your administrator defines which currencies are available in CAS genesisWorld.

• Select whether you wish to retain the available amounts in the currency fields, or whether you wish to reset the amounts to zero or convert them.
