Start/Stop the Notification and Action service starts or stops the service. If you start the service, a prompt is displayed. You can define whether all rules are applied to all data records that have been created since the service was stopped. Alternatively, you can apply the rules to the data records that have been newly created since you have started the service.
Changes are not possible if the service is active.
A notification can contain a GBT-file or links to appointment data records for a task and so on. Suitable content will only be displayed for those users who have been entered in the license for the respective client and who have logged on at least once.
On the Event tab, you can set up a different Application Server for each rule that monitors this rule.
This setting is recommended if the e-mail server can only send a limited number of e-mails within a time period.
Via the e-mail address for the action and notification service, you can still send additional e-mails independent of the notification service. These e-mails are not affected by sending limitations.
This URL is entered on the Services tab in the Server Manager.
To set up the notification service, you need a valid e-mail account.
You can also set up an SMTP account, as e-mails will only be sent. OAuth2 is also supported for SMTP accounts in Microsoft Exchange Online. If an IMAP application has already been registered, it can also be used for SMTP. The Mail.Send right must be set for the application.
The service runs on the Application Server and can log on or log off independently and send e-mails on behalf of other users.
You can also use the OAuth2 method as Authentication method for the e-mail account of the notification service.
In rules for notifications, you define a sender. If the e-mail cannot be sent, the system tries sending it again multiple times.
This drop-down list lists the languages for which language packages have been installed.
When creating a new rule for a notification, the Action tab offers an individual tab for each language.
The default language for users of CAS genesisWorld is set in the user properties.
