Other rights tab

On the More rights tab in the Properties window you can change the settings for users and groups, in particular for the data protection functions which affect the changing of data and modules.

• Address Wizard Activating this allows you to use the wizard.
• Using the options for Complete action and Edit action, you can define whether users can complete an action or also create and edit actions.

• Rights for actions

• The Edit views (public)/(private) rights only apply to CAS genesisWorld Web and enable users to create views.

Users with the right for public views can enter Authorized users when creating views in CAS genesisWorld Web and, thus, grant access to the view to other users.

In CAS genesisWorld Web, the view that has been made available is displayed to all authorized users in the list of available views in the respective apps.

Any authorized user can change public views in the Administration app.

The Edit views (public)/(private) rights only apply to CAS genesisWorld Web. The Create and edit personal navigators right only applies to the desktop client. Both rights are independent of each other.

• Use Merge duplicates to specify that the function of the same name is displayed in the Tools menu of the desktop client.

Calling the function opens the Merge duplicates window. In the window you will see all the addresses displayed which have been marked as duplicates by a module. To resolve address duplicates, users will require the Other rights right and where necessary rights to addresses.

When saving duplicates which have been ignored, they are not displayed in the Merge duplicates window.

• With the Export in special formats option, users can export .GTF files for any data records or vCards for addresses.
• Using the options for Export and Import, you can grant permission for the exporting and importing of multiple dates, for example, with the help of text or CSV files such as Microsoft Excel.

To import or export, you use the Import/Export Wizard in the Management Console and in the desktop client. You can only export directly to Microsoft Excel in the desktop client.

• Using the Integrate social networks function, you can ensure that the respective icons for Xing, Facebook, Linkedin and search engines and so on, are displayed in address data records in user clients.

Clicking an icon in a respective client opens a window in which the corresponding network and/or the search engine are then displayed.

Each user administers the data to log on to the corresponding social network in his or her settings. A user can thus display information from those social networks for which he or she is registered.

• The Display change log option enables users to see the Change log tab for data records.
• Using Edit change log, users can restore previous values on the Change log tab.
• With Copy & paste and drag & drop, you grant users the rights to copy marked data records to the cache or export them using drag & drop.
• Using the Print list option, lists can be printed.
• With the Rule administrator function, users can create and edit rules.
• With the Form letters and label print option, you can create form letters and labels for multiple addresses using Microsoft Word.

The right does not apply to e-mail campaigns as they are not created using Microsoft Word.

• Special rights for data protection

• Only users who have been granted the Create and edit xRM e-mail templates right will be able to create and edit xRM e-mail templates.
