This function is only available in the Premium Edition.
Different addresses are linked following the parent-child relations model (1:n). Such a hierarchy is displayed in the Group structure tab of an address and can be edited by the user.
The address for a concern is displayed on the top level. The current address is displayed with grey background. The triangle around the graphic represents the print preview and shows the alignment when printing as Portrait on DIN A4.
The administrator defines in the Management Console which fields are displayed on the top hierarchy level and which ones are displayed on lower levels.
Furthermore, he defines the colours of the addresses' background depending on the field entries. As a precondition, input help entries for the respective fields have to exist.
Different input options are, for example, available in the Sector field. Depending on the entry of the Sector field, an address is displayed in a different colour.
If the display of addresses in different colors was defined by the administrator, a legend with the colours and their meaning is displayed in the Group structure tab below the chart.
Click on the Merge button. The Search window will open.
The address is now assigned as child to the address that was previously marked in the tab.
Click Remove link. The link to the child is deleted.
