Tree view

The Tree view function in the navigator is only available in the Premium Edition and can only be used together with primary links.

A tree or tree view displays the primary links of a data record in a hierarchical tree structure. Addresses, projects and processes are displayed as folders. Within these folders, additional processes, documents, e-mail, phone calls, appointments and tasks as well as their associated hierarchical relationships to data records are displayed. All data records with a primary link to one shared project or address are displayed and can be edited. With an address for example, you see all the primary linked data records.

You can define which data records and primary links are displayed in the Tree view via data record types, filter and participants. Tree views can be created for addresses, documents, e-mails, phone calls, appointments, tasks, projects and events.

The Tree tab can also be found in data record windows of the mentioned data record types.

The Tree view and the Tree tab in a data record contain functions to edit and link data records and to change the display. These functions are called with the corresponding icons or via the context menu.
