E-mail/Archive/Delete tab

On the Archive/Delete tab, you define settings for archiving and deleting e-mails.

Archiving

Using the Send & Archive button in the e-mail window, you can send and archive e-mails simultaneously. The sending process might take some time when using Internet e-mail accounts. If you activate this option, the e-mail will already be archived even if the sending process has not yet finished. Thus, you can work with the e-mail, for example, creating links, without having to wait for the sending process to be finished.

If you archive several e-mails at the same time, a list with the archived data records is displayed.

You can archive e-mails as e-mails, documents, and so on. Archive templates are available for each archiving type.

By clicking the Edit button, you open the Administer archive templates wizard which you can use to create, change, or delete archiving templates. Using the wizard, you can, for example, sort templates into folders or name specific templates. This makes it easier to recognize which archiving templates can be used for specific tasks.

Invitation management settings

These settings are only available if the invitation management has been activated.

If you activate the option, appointments are created or updated as soon as the corresponding e-mail has been loaded in the CAS genesisWorld e-mail client.

If you activate the option, appointments are created or updated as soon as the corresponding e-mail was received on the e-mail server.

If you activate the option, e-mails concerning appointments are deleted from your inbox after you have carried out an action. Such an action can be, for example, accepting an appointment or adopting a newly suggested time.

If you activate this option, sent e-mails containing reactions to appointment invitations for the invitation management are saved in the sent e-mails folder of the user's inbox.

You can only use the respective function if the password has been saved in the e-mail account settings and the e-mail has been sent from the user's corresponding e-mail account.
