Customer: Enter the short description of an address here.

The field becomes a search field if the SmartSearch is active.

 Without using the SmartSearch, use this icon to open the Search window, if no address is displayed in the Customer field. With Link or Link & Close, the selected address is entered in the Customer field.

If a customer has been entered in the field, you can open the address with this icon.

If you are using primary links, the selected address and the Customer link type, are also entered as primary links. Link that have already been entered are not overwritten by CAS genesisWorld.

For advanced users

The displayed address in the Customer field is the address which is linked with the opportunity by an attributed Customer link type. With the Customer link type, you can also use the Link with or New link functions.

If you link another address with the opportunity using the Customer link type, this second address is displayed in the Customer field. The link to the previous address is automatically transformed to a general link. All the links are displayed in the dossier.

Click this icon to delete the link between the opportunity and the customer. Afterwards, you can insert a new address in the Customer field.

Status describes the status like open, won, and so on. Entries can be created by the administrator as input assistance options.

Phase describes the current stage of the sales process: lead, presentation, quote, and so on. Entries for the drop-down list are created as input assistance by the administrator.

Source: you can enter a trade fair, a recommendation, and so on. Entries are created by the administrator as input assistance if necessary.

Probability is an estimate of the chance for the conclusion of the opportunity.

Fields: Number, Responsible, ...

MMK Datenbank: Autonummerierungsfeld anlegen - If you click the icon, a number is created automatically. A number automatically created by the system is based on the criteria determined by the administrator.

It might occur that you create a data record with the number already existing. In this case, the administrator has defined that this field ist automatically filled in when creating the data record. You can change the default number.

Start/End Enter the date directly or via the icon to the right which opens a small calendar to select the date.

Fields: Total, Product item, Next activity

Total/Total weighted: the sum of your products or services is displayed in these fields. These sums are automatically updated when items are changed. The Total weighted field displays the sums multiplied with the probability of concluding the opportunity.

Contribution margin/Weighted contribution margin: the calculated contribution margin for the individual product items is displayed in the Contribution margin field. The Weighted contribution margin field contains the contribution margin multiplied by the probability of conclusion.

Product items are entered in the corresponding tab and displayed in this field.

Next activity shows you which activity is to be executed next for the indicated customer.

Thus, the next activity which is linked with the opportunity is displayed. The time of the activity is always based on the time at which the opportunity record is opened.

Holidays are not listed as upcoming activities.

Example
You open an opportunity which has an appointment for Tuesday morning and a Presentation task on Wednesday linked to it. Today is Monday, 9:00 AM. The appointment on Tuesday morning is displayed in the Next activity field. If you open the opportunity after the appointment on Tuesday morning, the Presentation task is displayed.

Remind/Reminder time: Here, you can enter the participants you wish to remind as well as the date and time of the reminder. The reminder always refers to the displayed Next activity.
