If a natural person is linked to the company with different functions or roles, several individual contacts and/or contact persons are created in CAS genesisWorld.
These addresses which were created multiple times, are set into relation with each other so that the identity of the linked addresses is displayed in each of these addresses.
You can assign address identities both in the desktop client and in CAS genesisWorld Web.
Addresses that are linked to each other via identities are not identified as duplicates.
You will only be able to categorize addresses as identities if your administrator has configure this for you in the Management Console.
You have a number of options to help you define identities for addresses.
You can then select with an existing address to assign an identity in the Search window.
Or select with a new address to create a new address in the following data record window.
On the Identities tab for an address, you can add identities using Add address(es) or change addresses using Remove address(es).
The Identity tab is only displayed if at least one address is allocated to the open address as an identity. The number of assigned addresses is displayed in the tab header.
A hint text is displayed directly below the Identities tab if the name, first name or birthday fields of the identity differ from each other.
The Identity tab contains a link view that includes the usual functions.
