Transferring contacts, tasks, and appointments

Tasks, appointment or contacts can be transferred to CAS genesisWorld by Microsoft Outlook. This involves importing data records from Microsoft Outlook in CAS genesisWorld.

For example, in the Microsoft Outlook calendar you will see the Transfer appointment button, and for contacts the Transfer contact button and so on.

Once they have been transferred, the Microsoft Outlook data records become normal data records in CAS genesisWorld. These data records are then available in both Microsoft Outlook and in CAS genesisWorld. If you change an appointment in one program, it does not have an affect on the appointment data record in another program.

You can also transfer data if you do not have a CAS genesisWorld Desktop Client installed on your computer.

You administrator can configure Microsoft Outlook so that you can use your logon credentials from CAS genesisWorld. However, you may have to do this yourself in Microsoft Outlook. You will only be able to transfer data once this is done.
