On the Out of office tab, you define the settings for out of office notifications. Even if the same sender sends more than one e-mail to you, the sender will still only receive one e-mail as out of office notification.
The out of office wizard applies to IMAP accounts in CAS genesisWorld. In the settings of the used e-mail account, the password must be saved, or the system will not be able to log on to the e-mail server automatically.
If you are using another e-mail client, such as Microsoft Outlook, you will have to set up the out of office wizard in this program.
If you are out of office, the text you have entered via the Edit button is sent to the sender. Check whether the text meets all the legal requirements. If necessary, also enter a signature as CAS genesisWorld does not automatically add a signature to out of office notifications.
The out-of-office notification in the preview window is displayed in darker font.
When starting CAS genesisWorld, the system automatically checks whether the out of office wizard is activated. If it is activated, a prompt is displayed asking you if you want to deactivate the wizard.
If you activate the for individual e-mail accounts option and click the Change button, you can select the desired e-mail accounts.
If you are on holiday, you will see a hint text on screen and can then activate your out of office wizard.
The hint requires that you enter your work times correctly in the calendar settings. Particularly, if your working hours are not the usual Monday to Friday 9:00 - 17:00.
If the I am in the office option is activated, the out-of-office notification is displayed in light gray font, if it is deactivated in darker font.
