The List view (archived e-mails) is a common list view in CAS genesisWorld with additional functions for e-mail editing.
In the program navigator, click the desired view.
Click Properties in the View menu.
For Archived e-mails you will see that the usual tabs are available for such a list view.
An e-mail can be archived as a CAS genesisWorld e-mail or as a document, task or appointment.
When archiving an e-mail which is available online or offline, the e-mail is saved as a CAS genesisWorld data record.
Archived e-mails are displayed in e-mail views. You can see which e-mails have been archived, because the Archived field is displayed or the respective icon.
We recommend this type of archiving if you wish to keep your e-mail correspondence.
When you archive an e-mail as a document, task or appointment, the e-mail data is applied to the document, task or appointment fields.
These data record types are not displayed in e-mail views.
We recommend this type of archiving if, for example, you wish to insert a request into an e-mail as a task or appointment for the purposes of planning.
