Dossier tab

This tab functions in the same way for all Data record types.

The dossier displays all links to a data record in chronologically order. The latest data records are displayed on the top of the list. The administrator defines the data record types and fields of each data record type that are displayed in the dossier.

You can then see all important information at a glance and execute the most important functions via the toolbar or the shortcut menu.

If you change data record links, the dossier is refreshed immediately. However, with 500 or more changed links, the immediate refresh function is deactivated..

 The position of the Dossier tab in a data record window is set in the settings. Go to Tools > Settings > Working environment tab.

• The links that are displayed in the tab can be defined in the link navigator

• The displayed dossier links can be copied to the clipboard and then inserted in Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel. Select the dossier in the link navigator. Open the shortcut menu in the right pane and click Copy dossier.
• If you select a data record in the list, the most important fields of the data record are displayed below the list, for example, subject, category, or tags. At the same time the toolbar displays the respective functions for the selected data record type.
