The time zone capabilities from CAS genesisWorld are supported across all the clients. If you or your colleagues work in different time zones, certain fields are displayed in the user's time zone. Notifications are also issued according to the used time zone.
At first, the administrator defines the time zone in the Management Console. In this defined time zone, all users usually work with a specific CAS genesisWorld Application Server.
If you work in a different time zone, you define your own time zone. This is usually done in the settings of the respective operating system of the computer or mobile device that you are using.
You can find further information on the corresponding help pages of the used operating system.
The following fields are displayed in the time zone that is set in the operating system you are using: Start, End, and Set time for activities, Start and End for time records, and Sent and Received on for archived e-mails. You see those fields displayed using the defined time in data records, lists, and in the calendar.
In the Desktop Client and in Microsoft Outlook, you can display a second timeline in the calendar.
