In the Archive e-mail window, click the button to open the Link with other data records area. In the Archive e-mail window, click the button to open the Link with other data records area.
In this multilist all data records linked to the archived e-mail are displayed. The templates defines which data records are displayed.
In this preview the automatically entered links are displayed, for example, through primary links.
In some cases, addresses that are displayed here have already been listed above. This will be the case if the template settings define that certain addresses are to be linked and that these addresses are contained in the sender, the recipient, the CC or BCC field as well. As there can only be one link of a link type between two data records, these addresses are only linked once.
You can also make links to opportunities. In the subject line of an e-mail you can enter the unique document data record number together with an offer that was created from an opportunity.
The system will also search for the opportunity while searching for the offer, display it in the multilist and can link the opportunity during archiving.
Link with opens the Search window or becomes a search field if the SmartSearch has been activated.
Before archiving and linking an e-mail, the addresses of senders and recipients have to be recorded in CAS genesisWorld. You may notice during archiving that this is not the case.
Extract address from e-mail is available if you only intend to archive a single e-mail. The button opens the address wizard.
After creating the address with the Address Wizard, you can continue with archiving the e-mail.
Using this button you can start the SmartSearch.
