The settings on this tab are your personal settings, for example, for things like your password. These settings are assigned to your user account for CAS genesisWorld and thus assigned to the user name which you use to log on to CAS genesisWorld. In this way, CAS genesisWorld will also have the look and feel that you know, regardless of the which computer you are using.
Each CAS genesisWorld user has a unique e-mail address which is displayed here as their Saved e-mail address.
This e-mail address is used by the notification service. This enables you to receive automatic notifications, for example, when a user enters a task for you, or if you wish to be notified when a document is changed.
In addition, this e-mail address is also required for the organization of invitations involving external participants.
The e-mail address displayed here is defined by your administrator and cannot be changed. This also applies if you have the necessary rights and set up an e-mail account for this e-mail address. We recommend that you also use this e-mail address for your default account too.
The administrator defines the requirements for CAS genesisWorld passwords in the Management Console.
Thus, you can get a new password, for example, if you forgot your existing one.
When logging on to a client, you receive a corresponding hint that informs you about the password change. Enter the new password the administrator has defined for you.
For only you to know the password, we recommend changing the password defined by the administrator.
You can change your password in all clients except for the mobile app.
In some queries and indications, you find the Do not show ... again option.
Deactivated messages opens the respective window. All messages that are deactivated are displayed in this window.
Delete alternative browsers and browser data
Internet views are opened with an integrated browser in CAS genesisWorld. This applies to, for example, some views in the navigator and windows which use social network buttons in an address.
In the CAS genesisWorld Desktop Client you will see that Chromium is the integrated browser.
With the help of this browser, HTML content is displayed in the CAS genesisWorldprogram window, for example, Internet views, Social Media networks in separate windows when you click a Social Media button such as those displayed in address data records and the Notes field if you click the Edit button to edit your notes.
Data used in conjunction with this browser such as cache data or cookies are stored in a CAS genesisWorld folder on the computer you are using.
If an Internet page is opened via the Desktop Client external to the program window, then your default Internet browser will open instead. This is the case, for example, when you open the Online Help.
You should select another browser if you wish to open specific internet pages or a particular URL.
When using the integrated browser in CAS genesisWorld, the cache and cookies are stored in a CAS genesisWorld folder.
If you have been assigned the necessary rights, then you can change the External access.
External access rights are the rights and rules which other users have, granting them access to the data records of other users.
External access rights apply to users who are not data record participants.
