Field variables are variable elements in a document such as your name, a graphic file with your signature or your direct dial telephone number.
Use this tab to enter the right values for configured field variables or to create your personal field variables. The names of field variables must not contain any special characters, that is, spaces, umlauts, hyphens, and so on.
You can insert field variables as fields in Microsoft Word documents.
This information is saved in the CAS genesisWorld database. Field variables are thus available on any computer you log on to. However, if you saved a graphic file with your signature this file must have been saved to a shared directory which is accessible from the corresponding computer.
