A potential customer is assigned to an opportunity. All phone calls, e-mails, letters, and so on, are automatically linked to the potential customer to ensure that a comprehensive customer dossier is created.
Subject field, here you should enter a name for the data record. Subject field, here you should enter a name for the data record. The data record is usually displayed under this name in all views. Another important field can be displayed in the dossier below the Subject headline. The administrator defines this option in the Management Console.
Longer text for data records is entered in the Notes field. This field contains an editor.
You can enter the number of pieces and prices for each product. Based on these entries and the probability of completion, the resulting totals are calculated.
In a data record with multiple fields in a currency, only one currency can be valid - you can change this currency.
In each opportunity, you can manage products you want to sell or you have already sold using the functions for product items in the corresponding tab.
You can enter products that already exist in CAS genesisWorld as product items. But you can also enter individual products or services which are not saved in CAS genesisWorld as items.
The drop-down lists for the Phone call and Send e-mail icons on the opportunities toolbar contain entries for linked customers and all contact persons.
In this way, you can select the respective phone number or e-mail address directly, without opening this address. This ensures that the contact process goes quickly.
The e-mail is not linked to the opportunity.
In the opportunity and for items, sums are rounded to two decimal places. This may result in deviations if a large number of items is involved.
For example
Product price: €9.00
Discount: 0.5%
Offered price: €8.96
for one unit, the offered price is €8.96, the same applies to the sum: €8.96
for 100 units, the offered price is €8.96, the sum is: €895.50
The sum is always calculated using the value that is not rounded up.
