Employee data records
Employee addresses also have to managed within a company and this can also be done by CAS genesisWorld. If you manage your employee data records in CAS genesisWorld, you have a number of functions at your disposal which support cooperation.
- During a call the system will display whether a colleague is currently busy in an appointment or on holiday. Data record participants have more functions at their disposal.
- You administrator establishes a connection between an address and a user account by means of an employee data record.
- Employees can manage certain types of data themselves.
- Other data are protected by specific rights.
An employee data record is generated by your administrator.
What is an employee data record?
An employee data record is an address in CAS genesisWorld and can either be an individual contact or the contact person of a company.
Employees can manage their own data if the address record is public or if they have the necessary rights to do so, for example, after moving or changing banks, data can include: First and second names, Address, Department and so on.
Employee data records include the Employee data tab. You can display the following data on this tab:
- A Linked user is the CAS genesisWorld user account for this employee.
- Personal data is often managed by specific departments with the responsibility to do so.
The Employee data tab in an address includes the personnel data area, this data can be changed if users have been granted the specific rights to do so.
Employee data record functions
If employee data records are available in CAS genesisWorld then more functions are available which make cooperation easier:
- During a call the system will display whether a colleague is currently busy in an appointment or on holiday.
- Existing employee photos are displayed on the General tab of an employee address data record when you write or receive an e-mail.
- Existing employee photos stored in the address data record are also displayed in the Participant field when you enter participants directly in a data record window. Your administrator has to configure the display of photos.
More functions are available in the Participants field when you place your cursor over the data record participants.
More functions in modules
- With the Sales pro module you can capture addresses or enter CAS genesisWorld users as sales representatives.
- With the teamWorks module, you will see additional functions employee data records available in the Management Console and on the portal.
