Participants and resources

Define the participants and their rights for the archived e-mail just as you would for a regular CAS genesisWorld data record.

Please note

As with other data record types, you have to take the general external access rights and the special external access rights into consideration.

• Access rights levels

CAS genesisWorld users or resources are entered as participants when using a template, if the users or resources have at least been granted the Read general external access right.

To be able to enter a user or a resource as a participant in an e-mail, you need at least the special external access right Edit for the archived e-mail data record.

If a user account or a resource is deactivated or their external access right is changed, you will receive a notification when using a template. Remove the participant and/or the resource from the template and re-start the archiving process.

When archiving e-mails, no participants are adopted due to primary links.

Functions

• You can select which users or resources you wish to enter with the template when archiving, by enabling one of the respective options.
• If you do not enter yourself, nor other participants, then any e-mails archived with the template are public.

Selecting the Other participants and resources option enables the respective buttons, these buttons then allow you to open the Select participants window.

• Select the External access right from the drop-down list which you wish to have entered when archiving the template.
