Properties E-Mail View
In the e-mail view, you can change things like the Mailbox, the Personal folder and other folders in the Properties window.
- In the program navigator, click the desired view.
Click Properties in the View menu.
- On the General tab, you will see Name and Notes as usual in views.
- On the E-mail access tab, you can create a New e-mail account or a New personal folder. The wizard will open so that you can create an e-mail account.
- Any existing E-mail account(s) are discontinued when the view is created. You can select another e-mail account or personal folder from the drop-down list.
- The folders for an e-mail account or a personal folder are displayed as subordinate views in the CAS genesisWorld navigator if you have checked the checkbox in front of an entry.
With the Default account you cannot use folder settings. Your administrator sets the same folders for each user. This is because the default account can be set by the administrator as a default for the public navigator.
- Other than for the default account, you can create new folders, delete existing folders or rename folders.
In a Mailbox you can change the folders on the e-mail server.
For Personal folders you change folders below the path that you entered for this account.
Subordinate list views in an e-mail view (mailbox)
- When displaying folders as list view in the program navigator, there are a number of specifics you need to take into consideration.
- In a child list view for a mailbox and for a personal folder you will see the View format tab.
- On the E-mail access tab for a child view, the name of the e-mail account and the folder name displayed.
If you activate the Display folder with account name option, the account name is displayed next to the name of the tab, for example, Sent e-mail (Robert Glaser). This can be helpful, for example, if you open multiple e-mail views on multiple tabs.
