With an E-mail view (mailbox) you can access an e-mail account and change settings for the way it is displayed in CAS genesisWorld. There are normally 2 different views available:
With an E-mail view (mailbox) you can access an e-mail account and change settings for the way it is displayed in CAS genesisWorld.
The E-mail view (mailbox) is a special folder in the CAS genesisWorld navigator. In contrast to the usual folders, you can change setting for the e-mail account in this folder.
An E-mail view (mailbox) has a number of subordinate list views such as inbox, draft, send e-mails and so on.
The List view Archived e-mails is a common list view, on the toolbar you will see special functions for archived e-mails.
Creating and changing these views is only possible if you have been granted sufficient rights to do so by your administrator.
Access to the e-mail server takes place in the background, so that you can carry on working even when e-mail folders are being refreshed, or when moving multiple e-mails to another folder.
The status bar under the e-mail view displays the current background action that is being carried out.
The archiving of multiple e-mails does not take place in the background, the progress of archiving is displayed directly.
Archived e-mails are displayed in e-mail views. You can see which e-mails have been archived, because the Archived field is displayed or the respective icon.
